The chickens laying "SOY-FREE" eggs have been given certified organic feed from Modesto Milling since they arrived on the farm as "day-old chicks." It is a feed that uses sesame seed meal as the higher protein source instead of soybean meal. The chickens have just started laying, so the dozens are mixed sizes - on the small end. Pullet dozens always vary between Pee Wee, Small and Mediums.

There are lambs available for sale. They will end up being between 35 and 50 lbs of wrapped meat. (50 lbs will fill a regular sized refrigerator/freezer's freezer portion.)

The lambs are butchered here on the farm. Then, they are taken to Swingles. Swingles and the new owner discuss the cuts of meat that will be done. The new owner then picks the meat up at Swingles.
