Farm Description

Butte Mountain Farm is located a few miles east of Jackson, CA. All crops, chickens, sheep and lambs are raised following natural, organic practices. We offer free-range chicken eggs, stewing hens, and at times, broilers (young, chicken meat birds.) We produce a variety of beautiful vegetables, fresh culinary and medicinal herbs, cut flowers for bouquets, vegetable/herb seedlings and have 100% pure beeswax candles for gifts and to give you a soft, elegant light. From extremely soft Rambouilett / Cormo cross sheep we have fleece for the hand spinners or craftsperson, and skeins of yarn from their fleeces. Lamb (whole animal) is also available for you to purchase. 

We have products available for sale all year long, selling at Farmers' Markets in Amador and Sacramento Counties, directly from the farm  and through food buying groups and local stores. By checking the website's list of current products and through e-mailing you can see the season's list of available products.

Candles can be purchased online and shipped for those wanting to give them as gifts.
