CHICKEN PROCESSING DAY
Cold weather's here and it's time to make soup! At the farm it's fall harvest time from winter squash to reducing the flock size by removing the old, non-laying birds and harvesting them. We thank the girls for all their work, and now, thanks again for the wonderful soup they'll provide!
This is a class in which you will learn to butcher a live chicken and prepare it for cooking.
When: Saturday, November 21st from 9:00am until around 12:00pm.
Bring: sharp knife, cutting board, apron, gloves For transport home-plastic bag, ice chest and ice
Cost: $10.00 for one bird, and then $8.00 for the second bird.

When you sign up, please let me know if you will want to purchase and butcher more than one bird, as there are a limited number.
