Sheep and Lamb
Butte Mountain Farm Sheep

Como and Cormo x Rambouillet sheep are raised here at Butte Mountain Farm. They have a very fine wool that hand spinners love! The lamb sold for meat is delicious and the tanned sheepskin hides are luxuriantly soft!

This year's lamb "crop" will be ready in the summer. There will be lambs available for sale. They will end up being between 35 and 50 lbs of wrapped meat. (50 lbs will fill a regular sized refrigerator/freezer's freezer portion.)
The lambs are butchered here on the farm. Then, they are taken to Swingles. Swingles and the new owner discuss the cuts of meat that will be done. The new owner then picks the meat up at Swingles.
If interested, please contact me for further details and to put your name on the list.
Comments from last year's buyers:
Just wanted to let you know that we tried the lamb chops last night, and they were DELICIOUS! The best I've had, I believe.
